Until Jan 2017, there is no strict law to limit the fireworks in most of Chinese cities even like Shanghai or Beijing, specially during the Spring Festival holidays(about 10 days, usually). During those days, every people could buy and play with fireworks. Just imagine, the whole city, 25 millions of people can play with fireworks at the same time! The entire city sounds like a huge range of war field. Digimonk started recording the soundscape from 2009 and recent years he got better and more microphones to try. From Jan. 2017, most of Chinese cities have got strict laws and play fireworks are forbidden, since it’s bad to the environment.
